CONSENT AGENDA - General Business
Approve the minutes of the regular meeting held August 15, 2024, and the special called meetings held July 29, 2024, and August 20, 2024, subject to any necessary corrections.

Vakulich)Award a multi-year contract to The Coastal Christmas Lighting Company for the Saint Simons Island Christmas Display Project in a yearly amount of $66,871 with $54,155 in funding to be provided by the FY25 Accommodation Excise Tax budget and $12,716 to be provided by the FY25 Capital Project Fund.

Talbert)Approve a mowing and maintenance agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) to maintain the right-of-way along SR 25 Spur/Golden Isles Parkway from Altama Avenue to south of SR 303/Cypress Mill Road following improvements within the right-of-way under the College Park Drainage Project. Funding to be provided by the FY25 Public Works operating budget.

(S. Ebner)Authorize the issuance of a purchase order to Boxx Modular for the purchase of a 72x60 modular office building utilizing a cooperative purchasing exemption (Sourcewell Contract) in the amount of $210,500 with funding to be provided by the FY25 Facilities Maintenance Fund.
(S. Robinson)Authorize Procurement to issue a formal Invitation for Bid for the construction of a walking path at Demere Park on Saint Simons Island.
(R. Talbert)Authorize naming the walk at Demere Park the 'Jim Brown Walk' and authorize the County to accept donations for future improvements to the walk.

Fendig)Authorize the Procurement Director to bypass the Procurement Ordinance to achieve the best value for the county and issue a Purchase Order to OC Welch Ford for the purchase of twelve (12) 2025 Police Interceptors in an amount of $544,428 with funding to be provided by the FY25 Fleet Fund.

Talbert)Approve and accept the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program Grant Agreement from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in the amount of $3,000,000 for improvements to the Coast Guard Beach Park and amend the Engineering Department’s FY25 revenue and expenditure budgets in the amount of $3,000,000 each.
(M. Hardin)Accept a grant contract from Georgia Division of Family and Children Services for Promoting Safe and Stable Families on behalf of Glynn County Juvenile Court for $37,500 with a $12,500 match requirement, and reduce revenues and expenditures by $10,760.
(L. Johnson)Authorize the issuance of a purchase order to Atlas Marine LLC for the emergency repair of Saint Simons Island Pier fender system in an amount of $97,500 with funding to be provided by the Accommodation Excise Tax Fund FY25 approved budget.
